Important Documents Required for MSME Registration

MSME stands for micro, small and medium enterprises. MSME registration is not compulsory for your business, but registering your company can offer you multiple benefits from government, incentives and access to subsidies and schemes. MSME enterprises play a very significant role in developing the economical growth of our country.

 

MSME or Udyog Aadhaar registration has a mandatory requirement of Aadhaar card. Provisional registration is also given for the 5 years where the entity has not started a business yet. During this time entity can obtain bank loans. The entity can apply for getting a permanent license with lifetime validity after starting the business.

 

Required documents for MSME registration process :

Proof for your business address, If the entity has self-owned premises then below documents are required to provide –

Allotment Letter

Possession letter

Property tax receipt

 

In case there is a municipal license in the name of a business, or the name of the proprietor, business partner etc. then there is no requirement of submitting any other possession document.

 

NOC – The entity needs to submit NOC from the landlord if he/she has rented premises.

 

Partnership deeds – For any partnership firm, it’s mandatory to submit a partnership deed. For any registered firm it is compulsory to submit the registration certificate.
Copies of sale & purchase bill – It is important to provide business sale bills that are related to every product that you supply. Purchased bills for every raw material that you’ve purchased is required to submit as well.

 

Copy of industrial license – Copy of industrial license is another required document that you must submit for MSME registration process.

 

Memorandum of Association (MoA) & Articles of Association (AoA) – For any company, it’s important to submit Memorandum of Association (MoA) & Articles of Association (AoA) along with certification of incorporation.
